This large, medium to fast-growing vine is incredibly hardy and can withstand slow temperature drops to -34°C (-29.2°F). The flowers are dioecious, male and female flowers are on separate plants. These seedlings are too immature to be sexed, but there is going to be approximately 1:1 male to female plants in each bundle.
Incredibly sweet smooth-skinned fruits ripen in September and October into bite-sizes portions like that of large grapes. These fruits can be eaten raw, cooked, or dried.
