Our edible woody crops nursery specializes in cold hardy, disease resistant woody crops that are selected to thrive in Certified Organic and Permaculture systems. Our Permaculture nursery is the site of ongoing breeding and research with an emphasis on our own American and Hybrid Hazelnuts, Chinese and Hybrid Chestnuts, Cold Hardy Persian Walnuts,
Pine Nuts and more!

Our mission at Forest Agriculture Enterprises is to help people and organizations to do something positive and REAL to change the world. One way to do this is to plant trees. Not just any trees, however, but trees that produce food, medicines, fuels and fiber. And not just trees!, but shrubs, vines, canes… in fact, entire ecosystems!
By intentionally designing and planting perennial ecosystems, we remove carbon dioxide from the air, provide habitat for wildlife, produce food, prevent soil erosion, and begin the creation of ecologically sustainable human habitats. Permaculture, Agroforestry, Eco-Agriculture, Reconciliation Ecology, Restoration Agriculture … call it what you will, Forest Agriculture Enterprises is here to provide the plants, technical assistance and equipment to help create a healthier, more ecologically sustainable world for all.
