Swamp White Oak (Quercus bicolor)

Popular in landscaping and lumber production, Swamp White Oak is a native North American species. It grows rapidly and can reach 60 to 80 feet (18 to 24 meters) tall. You can often find this species among America's north central and northeastern mixed forests in lowland areas.  

We enjoy this hardy species for it's variety of services including supporting native fauna, acorns for food, hardiness, ease of transplanting and for timber.
